If you are 18+, registered with a GP practice in the Kirklees and Calderdale area, and struggling with disordered eating, you may be eligible for free access to our early intervention service for disordered eating.

Please note: we are not able to work with individuals with a BMI below 18.5. If you have a BMI below 18.5 and you are struggling with restrictive disordered eating/Anorexia Nervosa please speak with your GP about exploring a referral to secondary care for disordered eating (provided by CONNECT and LINK-ED).

Who is this service for?

Our service is open to individuals presenting with binge eating and other specified feeding and eating disorders (OSFED).

Exclusion criteria

If you meet any of the following criteria, you will not be eligible to join.️

  • Obesity without an eating disorder
  • Anorexia Nervosa
  • Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)
  • Currently breastfeeding
  • A physical health condition requiring alternative treatment before intervention can commence
  • Prader-Willi Syndrome
  • Bulimia Nervosa
  • Pregnancy (up to 6 months postpartum)
  • Under the age of 18
  • A mental health condition requiring alternative intervention before treatment can commence
